Brandal might be the artist's name. Google comes up with a lot of pictures of people for the image search.

Munchen is Munich, probably where the artist is from.

Alpspitze would be the title of the painting. I'm guessing it's a painting of mountain peaks.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a place in Bavaria, which is probably the location of the place in the painting. It's a market town, near the border of Austria, where there would be plenty of mountain peaks to paint.

Here's how Babelfish translates your German label:

"Exhibition No.157 Brandal, Munchen "Alpspitze" (Spitze=Sharp - Mountain Peaks?) with mixing part churches" Crazy Babelfish.

Not much information, especially without the artist's name, but it's a start... try looking up government/public galleries or museums in Munich, they may be able to help.

Good luck!

Go to a shop/gallery that sells paintings and get an appraisal.
