If you're writing something long, take the time to type it, because you can always change your mind if you have a bad idea or spell something wrong. If it's just something quick, write it out if it's more convenient...

i type better than i write...like when i have to do a essay, it sounds better when i type it than when i write it...maybe b/c i can type my thoughts really fast!
