was first said by Chuck Norris' co-stars on Walker Texas Ranger as a good luck charm, hoping that a broken leg would be the worst thing that happened to them, but that it never proved to be the case?

looking at hamlet's soliloquy at 2.2.567, why does he seem so angry with himself? What evidence is there that he is torn between actions and words?

I wanna be an actor. but i dont really enjoy theater that well
i mean i think i would love tv acting with more serious roles but right now im in draama at school and im not really enjoying it, i mean i am not too happy with some of the lines and im not really happy about how the script was written. I think I would be more happy playing a role that was more serious and something I can relate too. So my question is... do I have a future in acting? I mean dont all actors love broadway and will do any gig they can? I dont enjoy scripts I cant relate too or parts that are too unrealistic ( like an evil villian ). so am I just blowing this off and making excuses just to call myself an actor? Do I have a future? Am I a real actor?

I am hoping to start some type of business next year. Most of my jobs have been entertainment related, although I'm open to doing something new yet still creative. I don't want to work as a retail clerk or in an office. Any suggestions would be appreciated- thanks.

Okay so I have never acted professionally on-air or anything like that, but i do have some commercial acting training from the school i belong to, and five years of theater, plus singing, dancing, etc. I am going to an audition for a small spot on the Hannah Montana series, and i'm beyond confused about what they're looking for nowadays, and how i can make them remember me and my interview/audition, and how to make a really good first impression. any advice you have would help me out a lot! thx

I have asked this question before and I am hoping to get more answers! wat would you do if you were me, and what are the best tips you could give to any teen actor?

So I am a Senior this year and I am 18. I really want to get into acting, but my mom thinks it is a waste of time and that I will go nowhere basically. She didn't say those exact words, but I know she meant it. So there is this open casting call next week that has talent scouts and what not. This has been my dream for a very long time. Growing up, I always was a little different. I wasn't like everyone else. I didn't like sports. And since I got into High School, I have wanted to act. My drama teacher didn't like me, so she gave me a small part in the play. No one, not even my best friend, knows that I want to do this. My mom has agreed to let me go but she still has her doubts about me. This has been my lifelong dream to be an actress. How can I help her realize that she needs to put her trust in me that I can do anything I set my mind to&this is something I REALLY want?

Does anyone know where I can find monologues from Bells Are Ringing. I looked up the script but you have to buy the whole thing, I'd rather not.

Hi! I have to perform a scene in my Intro to Theater Class. It has to be between two people (ideally females. If not, then I think we can change the roles to be for females).

Can you guys help me with the following:

--suggest a modern, well known scene/play (no Shakespeare-ish things; we already did that) (well-known as in The Lion King or something) (it can’t be only a movie, but it can be a play and a movie) (what are some plays/scenes you would enjoy performing and watching?)

--Provide the script (or tell me where I can get it)

--Tell me the scene (foe example, when Bob met Sally and they had lunch)

--It has to be no more than 20 lines (but if it is, I’ll cut the last however many lines to make it shorter)

Thanks a ton for your help! Really appreciate it!

i was recently cast as the kitchen wench and the Nightengale of whatever it is... hah. just wondering if anyone has any information on about how large of parts these are, like how much they're seen and stuff. a friend told me that to recieve the part of the Nightengale is a huge compliment, because she supposedly has a really hard solo. let me know, thanks!

I'm 15 years old and I would do anything to be on stage, but I have no idea where to even begin. I'm most passionate about historical plays, especially Shakespeare. I pretend I'm Juliet whenever I'm alone and I know most of her lines by heart (that's another thing, I'm very shy, though I KNOW I could play Juliet very well). I don't go to school (I'm homeschooled) but I might be going next semester, I've heard that highschools put on plays? I'm interested in doing historical plays, I ADORE the Renaissance... but I don't think the highschools around here do those sorts, they do modern plays
I DO NOT plan to pursue this as a career, I don't care if I never make a cent from it, I just really want to act (I'm not too big on being in movies like most..a live, passionate play is my idea of perfection)
I want to be Juliet. problem is, I have absolutely no idea where to begin, and the fact that I'm very shy doesn't help either. Any help is appreciated--I see this question is asked 1000 times

Well I did a few photo shoots for abercrombie but now I really want to try acting. Thing is I ask this, because a lot of models I know didn't make it well as actors because they lacked something "unique"

I tried some auditions already but I keep getting told you would do well in soap operas...WHYY!?

and for you doubters out there, YES its really me but if you choose not to believe, your choice.
