You put yourself out there! If you want to act on screen then you MUST get an agent! There are very few open auditions for amateurs. Only an agent can get you one. Don't do anything stupid like move to Hollywood without any money. Get a steady job if you are of that age, go to school! so many young people move out there each and every year, in hopes that they will be "discovered" its not an easy road to take... I don't recommend it. Make sure you are stable.

You may not mean theater but that is where you will get experience that you can show off in an audition. It's a tough profession - they only make it look easy because they are so good at it.

Go to a school, bar, city or meeting place where artists, actresses, filmmakers are around. Try doing some roles in student, experimental, art, or other low budget films free of charge, or intern for a project or production company even if its making phone calls. Start low and get whatever experience you can for your resume and you will make plenty of contacts. Get to know a student photographer who can take professional photos for free or little charge. Look on places like craigslist, and mandy.com for ads.
if you help someone with what they are doing, they will return the favor. you will reap what you sow, and you will be fine :)

find "casting calls" for everything you can go to. Try out for all the possible things you can. Once you have enough money, you would need acting classes, and a agent. After you star or co-star in a movie, you will most likely be recognized for your talent and become a well-known local actress. Good Luck!

First of all, start in small plays or join choir or something. As they said in Hairspray "You gotta think big to be big..." Try your hardest, and if they kick you out of auditions... Flip 'em off and try somewhere that appreciates your tallents. And whatever you do... AVOID GETTING OVERLY EMOTIONAL!!! Nothing's better to the press than a star... A: Having and emotional break down, or B: being thrown in jail.

People don't really get disovered any more. They work their way up. It takes years, and suddenly, they are known! except there is no suddenly about it. It you are a young teen, you will need your parents to bust their hinnies to get you experience, training and an agent. that's the only way.

People in movies act in anything they can--stage, commercials, community theater, home made stuff. Read their biographies and you'll see how far you'll need to go to be film-worthy. Acting is a lifelong craft, and film is only one place you do it. Discovery is like 1% of what it takes to be "discovered".

easy get out of a car with no on panties. No sorry. Get an agent, then he'll start sending you around. but you gotta make him believe in you. You are going to have to be creative in getting in to see the agent. If worst comes to worst contact the Phillip Morris Agency and work your way up.

post a bizarre video on youtube of you freaking out or threatening to commit suicide or demanding that people leave some skanky celebrity alone. when you get famous for it, capatilize on the publicity and worm your way into the film industry.
