Okay so I have never acted professionally on-air or anything like that, but i do have some commercial acting training from the school i belong to, and five years of theater, plus singing, dancing, etc. I am going to an audition for a small spot on the Hannah Montana series, and i'm beyond confused about what they're looking for nowadays, and how i can make them remember me and my interview/audition, and how to make a really good first impression. any advice you have would help me out a lot! thx

I have asked this question before and I am hoping to get more answers! wat would you do if you were me, and what are the best tips you could give to any teen actor?

Well, I hope it really is an audition for a spot on Hannah Montana, but there are so many scams out there, it is impossible to tell unless you tell us where the audition is and who(the company) is holding the audition and how you got the audition. Because if you don't have an agent who got you the audition, and the audition is anywhere but at Disney in LA, you are very probably getting scammed.

You will make a good impression if you are relaxed and friendly. Remember acting is playing and playing is fun and you are there to act and have fun. Do that and take your time.
Be honest and enjoy the whole experience.

Calm down. I have acted profesionally. I've been in a couple movies with small parts and I just want to tell you that when you audition, don't be yourself if you're wild or rambunctious. Act calm and placid, be polite and smile. Once your on tape or in front of people, get into that role. Wear clothes you think that person would wear. Make sure you're immaculate before you go into the room. Don't look at other acting hopefuls. Just calm down and bring a book or the script. A tip: this may sound unusual, but I always prepare myself to not get the job. That way, if I get it, I'm thrilled. If I don't I'm not to disappointed. If this is your first movie experience, it's okay to ask your agent, manager, or acting veteran for advice and help. You want to appear as professional and cool as you can. They want to be sure you won't be a problem on set as well as you are a good actress. Good luck.

if your going to audition on a spot for Hannah Montana you are doing something right. you should check out Miley Cyrus's audition tape on Youtube.com She is acting so much better than what was on this tape. So these people will see beyond your nervousness and see your true talent. Just be yourself. Good Luck. Let me know if you make it.

To get rid of your nervousness, think of the one person you could never preform in front of, and preform in front of them.

For the acting in front of the judges part, just go out there and have fun. Everyone is going to be worried about making a good impression. Because of this, lots of people are going to be too critical of their movements while they preform. To avoid this, act natural. This day should be just another day for you.

good luck.
