Hi! I have to perform a scene in my Intro to Theater Class. It has to be between two people (ideally females. If not, then I think we can change the roles to be for females).

Can you guys help me with the following:

--suggest a modern, well known scene/play (no Shakespeare-ish things; we already did that) (well-known as in The Lion King or something) (it can’t be only a movie, but it can be a play and a movie) (what are some plays/scenes you would enjoy performing and watching?)

--Provide the script (or tell me where I can get it)

--Tell me the scene (foe example, when Bob met Sally and they had lunch)

--It has to be no more than 20 lines (but if it is, I’ll cut the last however many lines to make it shorter)

Thanks a ton for your help! Really appreciate it!

Go with Mel Brooks. You have two to choose from now. "The Producers" or "Young Frankenstein". Both are musicals but I bet that you would have no problem finding something in one of those to use.

Niel Simons 'Odd Couple' It changes really well for female too! The argument scene is my favorite! Its way fun to do! Or 'The Importance of being Ernest' the scene when gwendolyn and cicley meet is really great, and its pretty funny!
