I have recently auditioned for a theatre production of "Once Upon a Matress." At the audition, I know that I was the best one for singing and acting the part of Winifred (one of the leads) but when the cast list came up, I had gotten the part of the Jester, and a girl who wasn't very good had gotten Winifred. I can't stop crying for a long time, and I need some good advice on how to deal with this rejection. Please help!

There are times when I speak to small groups, but I'm always nervous and my face sweats. I need something that can keep my face from sweating for 10 to 15 minutes.

I need to be able to rig tubing up a jacket and out the shoulder area so blood can spurt in a arterial wound-like fashion. The actor's arm is being ripped off so his other arm, concealed under his jacket, will be free to operate a pump of some sorts. (I'm assuming that will be needed to pull such an effect off). Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, I don't think I can leave my job today, start shooting a movie tomorrow and give an Oscar Calibre perforance. But then I don't think Nicole Kidman or Sean Penn can start doing what I do for a living tomorrw andbe able to do it anywhere close to satisfactory.
The point is all jobs take training and experience to excel but come the award season Hollywood hammers us - which I stoped watching altogather -with show after show with notion that acting is the most special, most intelligent, most creative, most worthwhile career. And all but the most special, most unique and most sensitive people will fail to act. In short, the actrs are God's gift to humanity.
I ropose that acting is about as difficult as any other job- teaching, Nursing, takin orders at Wendy's or dilivering mail or managins and caring for animals in the zoo.
What do you think?

Does anyone know of any place where I could get acting classes in New York City (or in the Westchester/Putnam area)? I would probably commute, and I'm looking for something on Saturdays.

I don't have any money, and my parents don't have much more, so I need to go for something relatively affordable. However, I really want to up my ante a notch for audition purposes for college and life and all that.

I think I have potential, but I need coaching. In any case, I don't know where to even begin, and I'm afraid of how much one-on-one classes will cost, and I'm not interested in group classes (my experience with those has been horrible).

Please and thank you ^^

She "goes with" boys,

She could flirt with all the guys,
smile at them and bat her eyes,
press against them when they dance,
make them think they stand a chance,
then refuse to see it through,

She could stay home every night,
wait around for Mr. Right,
take cold showers every day
and throw her life away
on a dream that won't come true,

She could hurt someone like her,
out of spite or jealousy,

... but none of that is as bad as expressing her true emotions in front of this beau of hers? I don't get it. What does she mean? Or what did the songwriter mean?
