Just think about how many of the things we say on a day to day basis are merely involuntary responses. "You're welcome" at work. Do we say this because we mean it? or is it just a quick response to the "thank you. "I love you" to your husband, wife, father, mother etc. When you say I love you do you actually in that moment feel the love within your being? Or is it just a phrase that we become so used to saying that it loses it's meaning for is? Prayers at church, such as the apostles creed. In this we announce our beliefs as catholics, but how many of us actually listen to what the prayer is saying and acknowledge that this is our faith. Just something that has been on my mind.

How do we know that our mathematics is right? Can we really say with complete certainty that our mathematics is correct? That it is totally flawless and able to explain all the phenomenon of the natural world perfectly? If say a superior race of life forms from the far reaches of the galaxy came to us and demanded that we show them what we know, threatened to enslave us if we refused to show them, and wipe us out completely if our math turned out to be flawed, would the chance be worth taking?

I don't think it does because there is more to life that just money.I believe that each person has mind ,bady and soul. There is nothing that can fill the void in a human except God.Some people try to fill it with drugs, sex, alchogol but it doesn't work. What do you think?

i have a problem and i am wondering how to overcome it (i think it is an existential crisis).
i am in my late teens and i have been writing since i was twelve, but now the sparks gone and i start to wonder what the point of writing is. i used to read tolkien as a kid, but now the only thing that i like reading is nietzsche. now, i am starting to question a lot of things-especially after i learned buddhism. i am really annoyed by others to the point where i have stopped talking to anyone unless they talk to me. this is because they seem artificial. and everything is starting to seem artificial; i have forgotten what was authentic. i dont even think im authentic anymore. i used to think that by questioning everything, i could reach enlightenment, but now i am really wanting to go back to the way things were, when i was reading tolkien.what is also bugging me is the fact that i want to be a creative writer, but now ive got writers block probably because of my crisis.how do i overcome this?

In thinking about reality do we enrich our experience of it? Or is it a waste that stops you from truly living life? Is the more correct way to have a balance of both? Is the value of questioning unknown to us?

13 is such a small number! I've only been alive for 13 years. I'm in the 8th grade...I've got 4 years until I graduate high school, about 9 until I graduate college depending on what degree I end up going for...then I'm on my own. I have to do my own grocery shopping, buy my own stuff...fend for myself. I we piss someone off we get shot! I don't just get threatened to get my butt whooped. no one gets it! I'm still a kid, but at the same time...I'm not. Its time to grow up, no messing around like I used to.
1 year...365 days, 8760 hours 525600 minutes...31536000 seconds? Those are such small numbers!!... do you ever think about the meaning of life??? Do you ever wonder if there really is a purpose for living, what's the meaning of life? How did human kind start? The Big Bang? God? It couldn't have started by itself!! If God did it then how does God even exist. I don't want criticism, I just want help...sooo help! OMGsh =[
Ahhh please help peoples!!!!!
