i have heard answers like god was always here but if you can believe that why is it so hard to believe that the universe was always here? or god made himself which doesn't make sense because if you don't exist you cant make anything especially not yourself.

It is true that someone wrote something like that, or at least it got translated like that in some editions of the Bible, but how does "having dominion" give one the right to abuse animals? That interpretation makes about as much sense as the interpretation that the Constitution means individuals have a right to own and kill each other with guns.

For anyone who seriously wants to know more about how we torture animals before we eat them, click on the following link:

Through out history man and the bible always claim that "God created man/human in his own images". Basically what we're saying is that God look like human. But the thing is that the Universe is vast and huge, there are most likely intelligent being out there that look completely different from us. So what right do we have to claim that God looks like human? Maybe he looks like completely different being?

So If there are other life out there in the Universe, does that basically proves the bible wrong?

If your answer is "yes" to one but not the others, why? If the act of killing is o.k. for some living creatures, but not for others, what are the differences between the living beings that make killing more or less acceptable?

My reality is this
I look at you and you take my breath away
I would ask for more time with you but I don’t
I love this moment we are together
Our standards of living is different
I would like us to be one and the same
I would love to be able to give you more , more of us in this moment
Our love is like a wild fire, it burns with passion,
Our love is more then a second hand emotion.
Our love is let go like ice that melts on cue.
But some how we manage to be happy,
I love these moments,
we save each other
open each others eyes to the reality that presents it self in front of us.

Would you? Even if you know that inevitably there are a lot of people who exist as a result of their parents meeting after fleeing Germany. Could it be considered murder if you knowingly snuff of unborn people out of existence........but on the other hand you'd save a lot of life's too.

Like all life forms also man as a self conscious being is bound to the vital demand for stability. Normally evolution appears, when this stability is being destroyed by influernces outside of that life form. So man, too, waits, till that moment arrives.
Only being self conscious, he is also aware of a more or less strong will to evolution.
How would you imagine a future being, its forms and its constitution, maybe beyond man, as we know him, whose will for evolution is stronger than his demand for vital stability? Please consider also political, social, psychological, physical aspects of it, if you like?

I have been writing and asking how to cheer myself up and all that stuff cuz i wanted to die cuz I lost my career. I used to drink and lost my husband, house, car, daughter and freedom.
Then I got a job, told them of my past and they "let me go" so my career was over. Well, I just got a new job as a teacher by someone who can legally hire me and I am so happy. There was no hope and now I have a different life. Just better. I have a guy who ADORES me and is not an alcoholic but hates booze. I am getting my daughter back and I have a nice home with 3 rooms and lots of stuff that was mostly given to me. It is true - you get it all back and then some once you start living life right.
Is this amazing or what? I can't believe I got another chance to prove myself SOBER now. It is amazing.

Discuss the complexity of life of those who lived in the Western Hemisphere before Europeans "invaded."

I don't want an answer to the question, I would just like to know what they mean by "the complexity of life." Does that mean how hard things were for them? I'm just confused. Thanks!

Are you willing to die for what you believe in?

Would you choose death over living a life that you don't want? Would you go down fighting rather than be subjected to a life you can not tolerate?

Would you lay down your life for your family and friends so that they could live the lives they want rather than be subjected to situations they could not tolerate?

Or are you afraid? Is your life so incredibly precious that nothing is more important than it, including your happiness? Are you a coward? Are you so afraid to live life your way that you'll accept anything else just to perpetuate a miserable existence?

What's more important: the quality of your life, or the length of your life?

It was in your bedroom.

And you had 1 to 5 children with this person.

If it was me, I would be heaven bound. I would just keep walking forward with a smile on my face. Because it would be time. I would just get in my car start it up, go to a bridge. Then jump off a bridge, either onto the railroad tracks, or onto the river. I will be in heaven finally. I am so serious. I am very serious.

What would you do?

If you believe, will you do a favor for me(and the world)? Let's cure AIDS together by believing there's a cure. If we all put out the message that everyone can be healed, the healing will happen soon.
There's a little girl in South Africa waiting for this cure, so let's hurry up and create it through the power of positive thinking.
Who's with me?
