I like the ghosts that live in me. They can stay.

Hi Flutterbypurr,
I've no choice but to take the ghosts within me everywhere because they're within and they are a part of me. If I could leave them anywhere, I would leave them in the places I visit in my dreams. Then they'd still be within, but locked up inside somewhere I couldn't reach unless I revisited them in my dreams. I couldn't leave them anywhere on the outside because then I couldn't take them everywhere. There would be some places they'd be left behind.

There are no ghosts within me they are everywhere flutter on the outside of you not inside hahehe you just have to open your sunconscious mind and be attuned to them they are everywhere you go and you can not leave them behind because you will meet some new ones along the way in the new places that you inhabit haheheheh :)))

If I took them with me everywhere, I wouldn't leave them anywhere because I'd be taking them with me everywhere.

But if I was only taking them with me until I decided to shed them and _not_ take them everywhere with me, I would leave them at the foot of the Cross.

I'm not a Christian, mind you - but I was raised in a fundamentalist Christian home. Leaving old ghosts at the Cross still retains a bit of a powerful symbology to me even to this day.

Aside from which, the Cross (or some folk's notions of the Cross, at least) is where most of my ghosts came from to begin with. It would be only fitting to return them in kind. :-)

I suppose if they were like the food inside me that I take everywhere, sooner or later they would be left the same way...

Let me just take this newspaper with me and I'll see you in about 15 minutes. When you hear the flush, I've left the ghosts...

I would put one in a tree, another in a lake. I would take yet another to the park and play awhile before stuffing him in the pipe holding up the swingset. I would take the next to dinner and let her upset the waiters, spill the wine and then I would leave her as the tip. The last I would take to the white house and let him chase everyone around the flag pole till they dropped, then stuff him in an envelope, place it in the oval office...for another round when it is opened!

As a ghostwriter, I really couldn't leave them anywhere - at least not for very long. I really do need them. But I might drop them off at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa for a while. Maybe for a quick tanning session. They really have gotten quite pale lately. Pax-C

Leave them? Why would I leave them? They are an integral part of me and maybe I am a ghost they carry around. Who knows???

No where it appears as they seem to be constant companions that I obviously allow to remain, because the void they left perhaps can never be refilled. The shaded past filled with memories that linger shroud the reality of today. Could this be somewhat in itself the Valley of the Shadow of Death? I wonder.

If there were ghosts within me, I don't think I would know it.
There are spirits within me and I wouldn't leave them anywhere, they guide me through my life.
