Is there any reason mankind should continue? What is the point really? I am only 34 and I am so tired of everything. There is nothing worth doing anymore. The world is so messed up that nobody knows the truth about anything. The world is such a horrible place that I am ready to be finished with it. The world would be so much better off without us anyway.

What do you think

what cannot be answered. Instead of having many religions each trying in a different way to answer questions to which we will never know the answers (at least not in this life), why don't we just admit that we don't know. That, incidentally, is the one area where an intelligent atheist and an intelligent Christian could find common ground. Admit you don't know.
(And now will come the answers from people who will insist that they do know. Some people can't even be honest with themselves!)

I'm not talking about your predictions of the future because those associations are based on past experiences.

It seems like if you have to actively choose to believe, then it wouldn't be true belief. Any thoughts?

I'm only 20 so I lack the experience to know if I am or not. Last week a friend of mine died and it's got me thinking about the frailty of life.

What can be done? Does it go away when you're older if you do start applying yourself?

Will I go to hell if I find women attractive. I've never acted on it though. But if I think about it, is that a sin. If it is, Im sining anyway, so why fight temptation?Am I doomed to go to hell anyway?
