Life has no real meaning, no real purpose, no point unless there is a Creator of our life.

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (philosopher, mathematician, atheist, Nobel Laureate)

What people will tell you is how to get some good feelings that make you feel like you have a purpose. But the feelings are meaningless because there is no reality behind them.

But with God, everything changes. Life can have a real point.
I think that if God exists, then He must have put our need for purpose into our human nature in order to get us to seek Him. So the point would be to come to know our Creator.

I don't think there is only one point to life. I think is a little more complex than that. However, to me, the point of life is to travel, learn as much as possible about myself and the world around me, and make a difference in the life of others.

To make a difference that you lived. It doesn't have to be in big, flashy ways. Sometimes it can be as simple as answering a question for someone or feeding your pets or telling someone you love and/or appreciate them.

We're all here for each other. Why else would the good Lord keep creating after the angels?

to have purpose without lying to yourself. living honestly, genuine. i can't imagine how being true to yourself and then living a lie could give you satisfaction. you can't just do or be anything. if dreams were possible, you could fly. but you want something else, something true. so walk out of your house and watch the stars melt into a morning sunrise, if you haven't done that before. or do something else. but if you hold out for truth, let your patience guide your thoughts, then the searching is more like finding, and anxiety is the pill you swallow to understand your frailty.

it isn't about working it out. it's about waking up and watching the rest of the sleeping world take itself out of the big picture. when everything is meaningless, you'll have purpose.

To live it to your own personal fullest. To achieve what you percieve. To arrive at the Pearly Gates all rumpled and wrinkled, laughing and yelling "Holy Crap, what a great ride".
