I'll be honest with you. I used to sneak out at night. I could take the screen off my bedroom window and just go out that way. Usually it was with my friends, a couple of hours during a sleepover--that kind of thing. I want to believe my world growing up was less dangerous than it is now. But let's be real here. It is a dangerous world out there. There are all sorts of predators--from thieves interested in your money to those seeking your well being or your life.

It's hard to admit the times I took my life into my hands by seeking an outlet such as sneaking out. My life was hard--I had very little freedom and lived in an abusive enviornment. But ultimately you're not doing yourself any favors if you sneak out. I was lucky. And stupid.

What you need to do is explore the reasons why you feel you need to "get away". There's a deeper reason/issue here and that is what needs to be addressed. Not your desire to sneak out at night.

Good luck and be careful. There's only one of you out there.

And people--sneaking out at night and violating curfew is illegal. You can get into a lot of trouble, the least of which is when the cops bring you home and wake up your parents. Ask my brothers.

You could do what you want, however, I have a suspicion that you will suffer in the long run for a few moments away "from it all." It's a choice that you must make, as you are the one who will be required to deal with the outcomes of your choices.

If she is disappointed, at least you did what you wanted.

There is a reason you do not sneak out at night. Maybe with 20 plus more years and a few kids of your own, then you might see it. Until then listen to your parents because I know for one if I found out my child went out, I would kick the holy crap out of them, thou its hard to do that when they are found on the side of the road all cut up in a body bag. Maybe you should think about all the things that could happen to you before you go out joking around. You could just do a search for sexual predators in your area. I know we have about four of them all with in about mile of my house. Thou I want to walk up and shoot the hell out of them, that would only get me in trouble.

Your to young to understand what goes on out side at night. You think everything is all huncky doary. Thou I was lucky growning up in my child hood, that was about 20 plus years ago. Today is a whole new ball game kido.

If you can cope with the fallout when you get caught, just do it. Parents have your best interests at heart when they impose boundaries. They can't be that strict if they are allowing you unsupervised access to the www.
