That is a famous quote by Bob Marley. It's not really a question, but I was wondering if you agree with it. I don't, because I have learned to be greatful for the good times I had with my husband enstead of being sad he is gone. Now my sister is dying of cancer and doesn't have much time left. She said she doesn't want to leave and is scared and I don't know what to say to her. Any suggestions?

If God sent prophets which are humans, why would he sent the son as christians says jesus christ is son of god?
Did jesus himself say that he is a son of god and want people religion to be christians? Did he talk about religion at all or was he just saying that there is God.

I can understand being washed and groomed and neatly attired as a sign of respect to others, but I just don't get the tie thing.

To paraphrase someone else's words: 'How can men be considered intelligent when they tie a little noose around their necks everyday'

Besides, in this world where women get equal rights (which I support by the way) why do women get to choose their formal clothing but men don't?

To me its really sad to see people from many various cultures ALL wearing the same boring suits and ties in formal situations (especially business and politics) as if they had no culture of their own.

To me, the homogenization of world cultures is a bad thing and the tie is symbol of this.

I am normally one to answer many questions, but this is one question that I have to ask. I am a Christian and feel as though I have reached a point of maturity where I now create peace with others in the name of GOD. And yet, we fight a war in the name of GOD, so I am confused. During the Catholic Crusades, a war was fought in the name of GOD to remove the Muslims from Israel. Then Saladin rose up and fought the Christians (he was Muslim) in the name of GOD. The Germans fought the Americans saying (translated) GOD is with us and Americans said the same thing. Christians say that GOD is with us in a role as an occupier in Iraq while the Muslim extremist claim that they are fighting a holy war. Yet I am a man of peace. So my question is this: Am I wrong to create peace with others of different nationalities and religions? Or do I take sides in this war saying GOD is with us. I am of the personal belief that GOD is a GOD of peace and I wanted to know what others think.
