I thought if a person were put at a figurative wall and left there long enough, he could persevere and push through. Lately, I'm becoming skeptical. Any opinions?

I think that we could have the power to make this world a better place. How could we do that? If we were to act selflessly at all times, we would change the world. Do you think that people can love others more that they love themselves? How about treating everyone with love, even people who hurt you? We are so self-centered most of the time that we only concern ourselves with entertainment and comfort, when we should be making sure everyone has food and life's basic necessities. Have you ever heard the saying "a house divided against itself will fall"? If you think of all of humanity as one "house" you can see how we are divided against ourselves, right? How stupid are we to keep seeking only what we want for ourselves, when it is so obvious that we are really just hurting ourselves. We deny ourselves our greatest achievements by ignoring the needs of others and getting "more" for us. What do you think?

This is not a serious question!
Let's assume nobody knows the answer so we just have to go on our personal impression of God. Does he/she/it have to be completly omnipotent???

We could assume the creating the universe was harder than the flood- it took him a few days...so any idea what God might find harder to accomplish, easier to accomplish
or do you believe something else.

keep in mind that if you are willing to consider God as fallible, it would account for Atlantic City. :-)

ALL WITH MY MIND....

I must confess that i'm not so innocent all the time.
True...i'm not de-purified, but that doesn't nessasarily mean my mind.

Trust me. It wasn't just your imagination.
That look WAS given.

A look you dont understand.
Desperation, accusation, a temptation...says any common man.

Dont get so offensive.
Because my defenses are extreamly high.

What are you gonna do? Organize a restraining order?
But why?

All I did was simply look at you
And undressed you with my eyes

What'd u think???

Who is affected more by stealing, the thief or the person being stole from?

Moral opinions on theft?:

Is it wrong to steal from the rich to give to the poor?
Is it wrong to steal to survive?
Is it wrong to steal just because you can?
Are kleptomaniacs to blame for their own actions?

The book said that the brain will veiw a situation and choose the right way to act.. Basicly your brain tells you when to be happy, when to be angry, when to be afraid.. Then maybe the real person, isn't the body at all. But the brain, like a person in a robot, the robot is just a shell a face, the real thing that makes the robot is the person inside.. Would this make the brain the person? And not the shell it thrives in?

If you go by science God did not get his doctorate. If you believe God is infoulable then we must be missing something about foreskin in translation. I think God screwed up. So Abraham corrected the problem. Or did he cause a problem. What gets into the head of a man who gets up one morning and goes and cuts the end of his penis off? Is that a reasonable philosophy?
