What must you do before you die?

This question will be different for everyone who tries to answer it -- as you've already seen in the answers posted.

Having buried both parents, I am all too aware of the mess that can be left behind. I've already made my will (years ago, when my health allowed me to travel more) and tied up the loose ends so that those left behind have less to deal with.

But from there? It would be to visit Italy -- thoroughly. To see an opera in Milan, visit the Uffizi in Florence. That, to me, is something I *must* do before I die.

I must help as many of my sisters and brothers in this life as I possibly can. To be a testament to my Creator, and spread the light of His teachings. To show that tolerance, understanding, love, and light are the only way to overcome the darkness which saturates our world with negativity. To show that everyone can make a huge difference, simply by loving all, forigiving all attrocities committed by others as the ignorance our world perpetuates, and being non judgemental. It is a simple life of love and acceptance of all, I love to pray, to be there for people, and to show that you can overcome the darkness with the purity of light called love.
This is my calling in life from Creator, but also my duty as a woman in this world, a human being with a heart full of love to give. It would be a privilege to share this love and to be able to help perpetuate a movement of it, to heal those who are not capable of loving others, that they may be changed souls. Before I die, I just want to help make a positive impact with the gifts which I have been blessed to receive.

when i was in the sixth grade, my gifted and talented teacher made us make a list of 100 things to do before we die. Some of the things on mine are

-visit at least 100 countries
-watch an opera at the Sydney Opera House
-attend a UN meeting
-see the Matterhorn


i am planning to accomplish them all.

Find immortality. Discover the meaning of leaf. Take up golf (which I hate) and score the lowest round ever at St Andrews Golf Club at my first attempt, finishing with a hole in one and die laughing whilst simultaneously being struck by lightening.

I "must" get a chance to either have one or more of my original songs played on top 40 radio...or play live in front of at least 5000 people...(I don't think I could draw 10,000 right away...most people I've ever played in front of was about 500...and they all dug it...)

I will not die a completely happy guy unless that happens...(although, I don't foresee being happy about dying at all...)

I've done it!

I can go anytime, nothing holding me back. I have loved, been in love, traveled around the world, over 90% of my loved ones are dead so I'm ready to go anytime. Woke up this morning and realized I have yet another day to live. Going day by day now. Nothing much more to look forward too, I've done all I want to do.

I need to make sure my dogs have someone like me in their liefs. Then I need the answer to the question that makes me go hum? What is on the outside of the final frontier? Ya know space? What holds up space? what lingers on the outside of the blackness? Then Ill be ready to check out.
