i was browsing through questions in here, and there are answers saying that "THIS IS NOT A PHILOSOPHICAL QUESTION" which made me a little confused- so what are this people's standards in saying- or should I say judging whether or not a certain question is Philosophical or not? What is god is it some kind of powerful energy like the Sun or is more like an all powerful wizard like Harry Potter?

Please explain to me what R these gods? are they things, or are they some kind of living being? ,you can't see it, and is there more than one?.

I hear the word used as if it was a kind of person, like they say, "He is watching you" is god a he? or a what?. AND if anyone believes in it, Why do they belive in god?!

Apart from anything else - isn't it the most easy site to navigate - I don't know who designed it, but I think they should be given the Nobel Peace Prize don't you?

And if anyone complains about this question - then you really have no idea at all what this world is all about.

Nature is relentless and to deny nature is a folly - by the way - how would you describe the word arousal to somebody who had never experienced it before?

I want to be a doctor for so long, but I think I don't have the grades and intelligence to get accepted in med school.

Now, I'm thinking about all the medical professions out there, yet I can't find any medical jobs that actually make me happy. I know people advise me to look deeper, but I can't imagine myself doing anything else beside being a doctor. Worse, I hear so many comments about how becoming a doctor is a waste of time and money because the tough career outweighs the benefits. PLus, the malpractice and insurance make things worse..

What should I do? I'm confused..I don't know what to do with my life anymore...please help...I thought I knew what I would do with my life when I graduated from highschool..becoming a doctor was my ambition..

I have my own reason for becoming a doctor, but I'm afraid there are many sacrifices..I'm lost and confused..I dont know what to do with my life..

I'm 19 yrs old.

Where do you think HE came from. Everyone I've talked to says there must be a god because the universe and everything in it (including life) couldnt create itself. Going on that theory God created everything but where did he come from?????

Wanting something we do not have creates a lack of contentment, which is suffering. It creates distance from how we are at the moment of wanting and the thing we want; that which would bring us contentment and cease the wanting. If you make peace with that fact that you cannot have what you want, then you have peace instead of craving. I try hard, but I fail most of time?
People always say "Try your best" or something like that..I do try my best..like on test and such..however, I always fail..I mean, I don't have the best grade like some students in my class.

I want to be a doctor, and it seems as if the grades are killing me..competing with the pre-meds who have high GPAs is a pain. I really want to be a doctor though.

How come I can't get good grades like some people even though I try my best effort?

Any other advice?
