In answering this question, could we avoid such answers as -
1. because ( Insert Deity of choice) says so. This begs the existence of ( Insert Deity of choice) and hat in itself is an argument.
2. Because we are already here. This argument could be used by Nazi troops in Poland, American troops in Iraq, HIV virus particles in lymphocytes and cancer tumours in the body, none of which have clearly defined cases for or against.
3. Because that is a (Insert Unpopular political movement name ) idea, and it sucks. We are not discussing politics here, just an idea.

Keep to the rules please, and enjoy.

I think our global problems reside not in the differences between nations but in our attitude against these differences.
Respect/Disrespect,
Aggression/Co-operation,
Power/Weakness,
Ambition/Contentment.

I have trouble understanding this. Why does he need worthless little creatures to worship him? And anyway, the word worship in a way reminds me of slavery. It is like you are bound to worship God forever, and you have no other choice. That is basically a slave. Why would God want this?

do you think that if an idea is foundationless it is wrong?

for example lets say theres an idea in which it is necesserily incoherent and it is foundationless in order for it to be logicaly consistent to itself. does this mean that the thoery is flawed??

and since the thoery is logicaly consistent to itself it cannot be 100% refuted. however if you dissect the idea and what is based on then it is proven wrong.

Some people may have heard of the Buangkok MRT station incident = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/buangkok_mr...

Anyway, was wondering if anyone knew any other so called 'White Elephants' in Singapore. Somewhere in Singapore which has unused land or wasted space. A place which could be said as having no purpose or no function in Singapore, such as something that could be there just purely for design purposes. Something like the Speakers' Corner or non-smoking areas :). Handicap parking maybe.. or empty state lands..

THX in advance..
