I think because life wants to wake us up, to not get us used to habit, to slap us in the face so that we can see reality (sort of a koan zen).

I believe that if life wasn't so ironic, then the world would be perfect. I mean... people learn from irony. Irony may hurt people and they always say ''why does this happened to me'' but that's a lesson that all humanity must experience!!!
