But my rationale is above me. I cannot go past something logically unstable. Am I doomed to be a non-believer?

if so, i was wondering how i should come up with a thesis for my dissertation. How do i think like that for an 8000 word essay? I have no clue where to start and how? I am a graphic design student so where should i look? What areas? advertising? I'll give an example as to what kind of things i should be thinking like i.e. how has the female form been used and what for? so it could include nude paintings to paintings of the female form to advertising etc and why and what products tehy are used for and how sex sells etc. So that's something someone doing. how do i think up a title in relation to the past developing to present. thanks.

I agree that It is often difficult to engage in impartial scholarly or scientific inquiry into the origins of religious doctrines, particularly when those critically examining the foundations of the revered truths are often placed in jeopardy by their societies.

Here is the statement: “She said she is convinced he is not guilty because he is not that kind of person.”

Here is the whole article from which this quote came:
SAN DIEGO -- The wife of the El Cajon officer accused of soliciting sexual favors from women he arrested took the stand at his trial Tuesday and said he is not guilty, NBC7/39 reported. Investigators said at least five women have come forward with allegations against Officer William Taylor. His wife Deanna Taylor testified about how she got the news of the accusations. She said she tried to reach her husband by phone, and when she finally talked to him, he wasn't himself. "When I would normally reach him, he would tell me exactly what he was doing -- reports to finish, or if he was on call. He would give me specifics, he didn't this time," Deanna Taylor said.

Take style for instance. All of the "latest" fashion trends come from some generation before us. And what about literature? Sure, the classics are great, but why can't we read current stories in our english classes? And why do we have so many different types of history classes, but no classes on future possibilities and how to change things for the better NOW? Music hasn't really gone in any new directions lately. There's still racism. I don't get it.

ok, so the mayan calendar has been pretty accurate with the big events that have occurred, and the end of the world is supposedly in 2012. well i have 2 theories and i need opinions.

1. the war in iraq will turn into WWIII and will involve...uhh...is it nuclear bombs that destroy tons of stuff? well whatever type of bomb we have never used in war. maybe that is the end of the world, because its a huge war. maybe it wont literally be the end, but it could kill millions.

2. global warming. maybe "The Day After Tomorrow" is a movie that is predicting the future. it could very well happen and could kill millions of people in a very short period of time. maybe global warming will take full effect sooner than we all think.

opinions?

If you were to clone yourself exactly, and then you killed the clone... would it be murder or suicide?

And out of interest, if you were to clone yourself, any interesting thoughts as to what you would do with your clone?
