To be able just be myself because I never harm or insult anyone with my way of being.
So when others accept me as I am without judging me... I have my personal freedom.

Personal freedom means that a person has the ability to live without any interferance from any city, county, state or national governmental agency, organization or representative what so ever. It means that no one has any authority to tell you that something you do, say, feel or think should not be done, said, felt or thought. Freedom means choice without consequence and only having that situation is freedom. Everything else is just tyrany and oppression in disguise.

That has several definitions. I've been married for 36 yrs., and for us, it means that while we always let one another know where we are and what we're up to, we still allow each other a measure of personal, private time, to be used however we wish.
We love being together; doing activities or just lounging, doing nothing.
But no matter how much in love one is, there is still a need for some basic privacy.
We don't read or monitor each other's postal mail, e-mail or messages. We don't have trust issues. We don't have jealousy issues.
We are both a couple....and two individuals.

To me, it means being able to express myself in day to day living, and in life, the way I'd like. Ofcourse, I also take full responsibility for the consequences. And I also know, we can't always have our way, and a compromise or sacrifice here and there is essential when we are part of a social fabric. Esp with our loved ones.
I just ask myself "what's really important to me in this situation"? In a way, sometimes, stopping ourselves from doing what we want, is also freedom :-).

It means that as individuals (which have a limited perception of reality) we are able to be independent, having self-control. In any situation we are able to take certain decisions, actions or not. We are able to choose to express opinions, thoughts. Personal freedom is therefore crucial in our lives.

I don't know that there is such a term as personal freedom. The word "freedom" refers to being free to do what is right. The word "license" refers to being free to do what is wrong.
No one is "free" to do bad things - that's an abuse of the word freedom. We just have the ability to do bad things and we quite often do. But sin has the effect of enslaving us so it never offers real freedom.
Thankfully there are many things we are "free" to do that don't fall into the realm or right or wrong like drinking coffee instead of tea, or having 2 bowls of icecream instead of 1!

Freedom is a condition that allows me to pursue what is truly worthy of me. This requires sacrifice and commitment. Human beings are free where animals are not, because only humans have the capacity to choose between good and evil, to contribute to others and to the world, and to move toward the goal of ultimate Love and Home. Of course, humans are most free, then, when they are choosing to align themselves with what is good, just, loving, true, and beautiful.
