In Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy, humans who first settle on Mars live underground, and then in "tented cities" that resemble the Biosphere projects in existence today. I'd love to give it a whirl, just to see what it might be like; after all, if we do live to see human colonization of the Red Planet, it might help to get an idea of what's possible.

Exactly, depends on for how long. Although, if I had access to a library of some kind and a computer with internet, I could live there a really long time!!!!
