Liar.

2007-03-14 11:18:07 · answer #1 · answered by steve 5 · 0 0

Of course the question can be answered.
If you'd say: "i always lie" there are 2 options.
1) That you're telling the truth, which would make the reasoning not valid. So this option is ruled out.
Or 2) That you're telling a lie, and you not always lie.. probably just once, this time, probably once in a while, we don't know..

Conclusion: i wouldn't believe you if you said that, but nevertheless, i could believe you some times.

You're stuck in a room. There are 2 doors, but only one of these doors is the way out. You can only choose one to open. If you open the wrong one, you are stuck there forever. Now you do have some help...There are 2 computers in this room that both know which door is the way out. You can pick only one computer to ask only one question about getting out. One of the computers ALWAYS lies, and the other computer ALWAYS tells the truth.

Yes, but I always lie.

So do you believe me?

thats not possible because the statement is paradoxical:
if you always lie, than you saying that you always lie is a truth.
and if you don't always lie, than you're wrong.

yes, it is your spoken wish, and God let you be happy to have it...God does not care of our double meanings, but granted spoken one..There is no way to teach you otherwise. So be careful what you wish for, or enjoy to receive that questionably joyful embodiment....although it would cover your other wishes to "have" ...money, love, friends name it, but the bill would be enormously painful....To sustain that which will be given you must constantly lie... if you stop it or being busted which is obvious stop... you will lose all of it...Very common scenario

No, I would deduce that you sometimes lie - it would be the only thing that makes sense.

Oh man, please.. don't hit us with this. This is synonymous with the term: "This statement is false". Um.. I wouldn't believe you- because what you're saying could be the truth- which cancels out the statement in the first place.
