1. Set aside at least $3 million in investments to pay me a steady income every year, so I never have to work again.

2. Give at least $1 million right away to charities that help children who are battling life-threatening illnesses, like St. Jude's children's hospital. Maybe set aside another million into investments so that the income can continue to go to all sorts of good charities year after year.

3. Upgrade my home, car, etc.

4. Give 10% to my church, either all at once or through a trust fund or annual payments. Or maybe do earmarked gifts (offer to pay to upgrade the sanctuary).

5. Pay off any debts and mortgage.

6. Keep the rest to see what else comes up!

If there ever was a charity case, I'm it. I spent part of my childhood being homeless, living in hotels, cars, family members houses. My family had a lot of problems. My education suffered because of it, and I let it. Now, I have similar problems in adulthood. My job options are restricted to middle pay...which isn't easy nowadays. So, if I was given 20 million dollars today, I'd help my family, put aside money for my daughter to go to college, invest half of whats left and split what was left(probably about 8 or 9 mill) and give one half to AIDS research and Cancer research, and the rest I'd split up with MS, MD and Stem Cell Research.

I will not take in installments but take all at once. Hire an accountant see ways to save income tax as much as possible bcox I hate to see my money used to cleanup the mess in Iraq. I will to a significant portion to to charity but not a penny to the church or any religious organization. I would donate the money for the food and medicine for the needy. I love books and libraries so I would definitely donate some money to the public library. I will make a list of all my relatives and friends who could use some financial help on the children's education and other needs. For me I will buy a nice farmhouse amidst several acres of land.

A quarter of it would go straight to charity... The next fourth would go to investments, profit from that would go to charity. A fourth to a few colleges that I've attended. The last fourth, I'd buy a house and pay off my cars. Nothing would be spent crazily, but depositied into a bank account to rack up interest.

$5 million each to the Boys and Girls Club, Make a Wish Foundation, as well as Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. I would keep $5 million for myself then give the last $2 million to a local church.
