I grew up poor so I did everything I could to grow beyond that. I believe that money is evil but necessary so I wanted to build a life in which money isn't an issue. The majority of marriages end because of financial difficulty and I think that's a stupid reason to end something sacred. If whoever leaves me I want it to be because she just doesn't like me.

Anyway, when do I call it good? I would think life would be very unfulfilling if I spend the entire thing trying to make an even bigger paycheck--like having a goal that you never really reach.

For example, I may be offered gold, but gold doesn't make me happy. Let's say I prefer silver although I know it's not as valuable as gold.

So in this situation, what's better: being happy and sticking to your own preferences or choosing something just because you know it's better although it makes you feel empty?

Note that the examples are supposed to be metaphors.

we are all born dumb animals.Face it we are not born self aware at birth, everything we do as infants is automatic, we are not unlike people in a coma the body functions but the mind is not there, so at what age do we become sentient and where does it come from. Seriously think about it for a minute, we seem to become self aware overnight, any one who's raised children should be able to recognize the signs, just because that little face is smiling at you doesn't mean he/she is self aware their just a baby doing what babies do. Then one day you look into that childs eyes and you realize that they are self aware because suddenly that child is aware of you and its surroundings this can verified by the fact that the child is now watching you and not just looking at you. Human developement happens gradually and over periods of time. sentience is the only thing that happens over a short span of time therefore we are not born with it so I ask when do become we sentient and where does come from

If aliens exist and if they believe in God, so they can't terminate us, bacause they follow the rules of God. They won't destroy us because they don't exist. God already attempted to destroy some parts of the Earth. So God really exists! What do you think?

"The great mind has always faced oppression from the mediocre" Albert Einstein

Our society seems to be going the way of homogeneicity, that is everyone and everything the same, no new thought and no new ideas being tolerated. This is however being discussed in a facade of socially acceptable thinking.

However, being a different thinker I have always faced a wall of ignorance and malice when trying to express my differing views. This has come in the form of people not listening or arguing a mute point up to physical abuse.

My question is What should be done with these people who have no more intelligence than pond scum but still want for nothing else than the preservation of their ideals? An Idea that I had was either shoot them or have a system where by if you have not but the ability of children to think that they are treated as such, having their rights restricted like children have.

What is your opinion on this and what should be done?

The question is about the perceived sense of superiority of the human beings. Are we really the best built creatures? Do we have the best of love, compassion and life as a whole? Is it only because we are far superior intelligence that we demand superiority in all respect?
