Yes, your question is one that is asked by thousands of people every day. I must tell you there is a book that answers that question and I recommend you read this book: The Secret edited by Rhonda Byrne.

We become what we believe we are.
Step one is to change your internal script. Pick up any newspaper and you'll find dozens of stories about people who wish their only problem was having their cars stolen and some money problems.
Start being thankful for what you have...health, eyesight, food, shelter, education, whatever. As for what you DON'T have, you can be thankful for that too.
Just refer to the newspaper again. I will GUARANTEE you that there will be someone on page one tomorrow who would change places with you in a heartbeat.
Get up every day and thank God that you are alive and have the ability to try to accomplish something positive. if you have a bad day, flush it and thank God again the next day.
And the next, and the next, and the next... until there are no more days left.

I know this sounds weird, but you know how you make a connection with your property? And if something seems too nice, or too good to be true, or feels too good for you, it doesn't really feel like yours? The reason I'm saying that is because my stuff used to get stolen ALL the time- wallets constantly, money, and expensive jewelry. Some of it may have been carelessness, but I think alot of it has to do with how you identify with your things. Once I really accepted that something was mine and I deserved it, it stopped happening. maybe I should post this in spirituality or something... lol

I think you need to question your choices and the way you live your life. I'm not talking about "karma", "luck", or whatever childish phenomena you want to attribute your misfortunes on. I mean the choices you make every day and the general direction of your life. Maybe you simply live in a bad neighborhood, or are sometimes prone to disregard the safety of your property, and maybe you just need to be more active in protecting your cars.
