We are the only beings that actively cause extinction. I'd say that says a lot about humans.

Humans are like a maze with no real exit. No matter how long we search for it we never really find. Us humans tend to trick our self's into thinking were out of the maze when we are just deeper in the maze itself. No matter how long we try we will never be as smart as other things because we don't have to adapt we just have to trick ourselves into thinking we have.
