Also, was their any strong emotions that you seemed to become completely consumed by?? I keep feeling these intense feelings of aggitation, anger, and sadness about wanting to be doing more with my life. The aggitation and anger is usually directed outward, on people like my boyfriend or our living situation. Any insights?!?!? Please share your experiences with me as well!

its an other part of this life. but we base our opinions on what we think of death. we think of it as "sad" but it s realy just the final stage.if you strip how you perceive life, the beginning, middle, and end. then realy death should be seen as sad as the beginning

I've asked this in Religion and Spirituality and got a bunch of nonsense answers. So I'm asking it here, too. My question is, do you think that good deeds are only good if you choose to do them, and sin is only sinful if you choose to commit it? And if you go to heaven or hell, where sin / good deeds cannot be commited, wouldn't that really take away some of the impact?

in order for us to have a subjective reality. there must be something there in order to have a subjective reality. because if there isnt, then what is it that we base our ideas on?? and what is it that we perceive?? and if there is no objective reality then how is it that we created colors, sounds, touch, and smell if we have had no experience prior to them?? think of someone being born in a sensory deprivation tank, he would have no concept of a color so how could he create an illusion which consists of them along with the other senses??

but without subjective reality then there can be no objective reality. because if we dont have perceptions then there can be no objective reality to perceive.

but in general objective reality exists right?

I work at UPS, I make $42.00 a week, how can that pay any rent, I make $42.00 a week as a part-time package handler. That is the total I bring home after taxes and union dues.

I make $42.00 a week, that can't even pay for my car. I have the worstest job in America.

I am 21 years old, and I am about to get kicked out by my parents. I am going to be homeless in the future, I have nothing, I am suffering, why don't I just go to heaven right now. I am ready to go to heaven

please refer to my previous question...I'm not trying to take the teaching Assistant on or anything like that. In fact I would be perfectly happy keeping my opinions to myself...But there is a teaching Assistiant who feels like he must "inspire" you when that doesn't happen he feels like he must defeat you in some way. I have no problem with people having beliefs that differ from my own, only he is constantly using fallacious logic such as a strawman to attack arguments that he doesn't agree with, and then personal attacks when that fails... A teacher whom I respect once told me "if you argue with an idiot he is doing the same thing" so I try to just ignore him, but that is easier said than done when someone keep "calling you out.." Is it that this guy is too stupid to think properly; how can that be? Or, is it that he feels the need to use any means to strengthen his cause, but why would you want to defend something that you know to be false rather than learn yourself...

thanks

In philosophy it seams that the largest part of most works in any language are dedicated to explaining the particular meaning of the specific vernacular as intended by the author.

When programming computers we commonly use a higher level languages to make the code understandable by humans, but C++ or Java can have many different implementations which will result in the same Assembly and the same Machine Codes. Machine language is to low, and only really good for the computer. Assembly though is simple, constant and meaningfully to humans.
So is there a language which is consistent and meaningful with a strictly limited vernacular; which can be expanded into a higher language for human convince, but can always be compiled back to the original?

Each action or choice we make either has a reason behind it, or doesn't. Every action can be broken down into its components until you have base actions which form the root cause of that action. The alternative to this logic is that some things have no reason or cause. Either way, either everything is caused, or some things are caused and others are uncaused. Thus, actions which we call "morally-wrong" from a God's-eye view, when taken within the context of their causes, were either inevitable or random, and judgement is irrational.
