No, the planet earth will survive for a very long time.
But life on earth will change very much, and mankind as well as many animals may vanish from earth.
The biggest danger I see is that global warming lets the drinking water become scarce, deserts become bigger, and as water becomes as important and expensive as oil today, there may wars be fought to gain or keep the control over water, wars that endanger the survival of mankind.

No, the planet doesn't care about us one way or the other, any more than it did about the dinosaurs. The planet's not in any trouble at all.
*6,000 a day from malaria, for example.
