Nostradamus published his prophecy's in 1555. Since then they have been badly translated several times the translations lack specificity and only bear a vague similarity to the oiginal works.

Academics say his prophesys were no more than educated guesses of events that were to happen in europe during the rest of the 16th century. Many of the names taken out of context to be people of the 20th century have been found to have been people in the europe of the C16th.

In order to shoehorn an event to fit a prophecy you need to mistranslate and jump to conclusions.Look at the example below

Skeptics cast doubt upon the interpretation of Nostradamus's quatrains (Randi 1993). Here is how James Randi and Cheetham read one of the more famous quatrains, allegedly predicting the rise of Adolph Hitler to power in Germany:

Original french translation....

Btes farouches de faim fleuves tranner;
Plus part du champ encore Hister sera,
En caige de fer le grand sera treisner,
Quand rien enfant de Germain observa.

Retroactive Clairvoyance version:

Beasts wild with hunger will cross the rivers,
The greater part of the battle will be against Hitler.
He will cause great men to be dragged in a cage of iron,
When the son of Germany obeys no law.

Academics version:

Beasts mad with hunger will swim across rivers,
Most of the army will be against the Lower Danube.
The great one shall be dragged in an iron cage
When the child brother will observe nothing.

He was infact referring to an ancient name for the Danube region and the paranoia of the time signalling the end of the world was the antichrist in the form of the then invading armies of the Ottoman Empire.

So you can see I don't believe at all. This man was just an intellectual daydreamer and his idea's were about as good as his books on Medicine.

I think there is some truth in his predictions. Some of them actually came true, like the natural disasters and wars in the middle east in the recent years. He also predicted the existence of aeroplanes, for example.

Of course, It can't be expected that everything will come true, or that it will come true exactly as he put it down. After all, there is the error factor, and the fact that he lived a long time ago when the world was different (technology, beliefs...) and he had to write down his predictions as riddles, or he'd be prosecuted by the Church!

ALL of his predictions are amazingly INCORRECT.
He was writing in Old french Latin that does not translate well into modern french. When translated lit rally, there are hundreds of inaccuracy's present that were not what he intended to portray in the first place.
This whole Himmler thing was totally blown out of order. The word Himmler properly translated actually means river or stream, and he was not actually talking about war at all.
He's predictions were also very vague and you can read into them what ever you want.
A lot like the horoscopes in present day newspapers.
He has been discredited enormously in recent years.
He was basically a mad monk with fanciful ideas.

if god exists then where does he live, not on earth thats for shure
not in the clouds
not in space or another planet
even after the end of the galexy he is still not there !

no one has ever seen him unless they were high on crack or something

god is mearly a word which people in the ainchent times made up for a good bed time story to put their kids to sleep at night .

if god really did exist then so would adam and eve . they were supposably sent to repopulate the earth . so think about it how did they manage that ? did adam fu*k eve so hard that 3 hundred billion cave men poped out ? NO i dont think so . even if they did have kids what happened after that . were they so desperate they DID there own family ? i dont think so because we would all have horrible mutations e.g two heads

i promise you GOD is just as much of a fake as santaclause and the tooth fairy . Also like them they are only real if you belive in them . which usually you stop beliving in them after you turn 12 and catch your pairents sneeking pressants in your room on christmas. i prommise you god is exactly the same just a myth of old times which has been passed on for so many years people have even gone mad thinking about how the world was ever made

as for the truth about how it all started off no one will ever know
i have a thearey more lickley than god though

there was a chemical reaction a flash of lightening and a loud bang and hellow world!!!

promise me to ask no more questions on god believe me and dont go mad or insane trying to find out more because there is one theory you must always remember -

DONT DRINK AND DRIVE , SMOKE WEED AND FLY !!!!!!!!!!!!
belive and do amaizing things ....................??????????...

When people read his predictions, they have a tendency to want to believe them, and try and fit a disaster to the expected date, which can span a decade, perhaps. It's a bit like desperately believing in ghosts in order to make ones Life appear to have more depth and meaning than it really has. Life is what you want to make it, and most tend to live through it making things happen, but within societies rules!
However, I will make a prediction now, I bet that there are those, who are reading my drivellings and are thinking, "What a barmy person this contributor is!" Kay Serra!

This is one of those old chestnuts that returns every coupla weeks.
Like any other author he was trying to make money from the gullible.
Its deliberately vague nonsense. He made it all up. Probably merely his ramblings whilst spaced-out on the equivalent of pot in his time.
