I work at UPS, I make $42.00 a week, how can that pay any rent, I make $42.00 a week as a part-time package handler. That is the total I bring home after taxes and union dues.

I am sorry that you are suffering. Sometimes life can be pretty tough. Just remember that you are not alone. There are many people out there that are suffering as well. Try going to the employment office in your area and looking for a better job. Also try the papers and talk to your friends and family they may know of job openings where they work. The main thing to keep in mind is not to give up, It will get better.

Well there IS minimum wage. If you make $42 a week that's clearly not a lot of hours, what are you doing the rest of the time? If you can't get enough hours at UPS really it's as simple as looking for a new job or a second job until you find one... Am I missing something though? It's possible you haven't fully described the situation...
Though I honestly pity you if you're in one of those horrible states that has a $5 minimum wage... I must admit that's ridiculously low.

We will never make enough working for someone else, paying rent, not owing the means of production.
It is time for those without to stand up, go out into the street and demand a fare share for your effort.
why should an executive get as much in a day as a worker dose in a year?

You can make $30-60 a day in few hrs just for fun. You don't have to setup a website or fee to start. I'm lazy not every active everyday and still make money in a free time. It was really exciting, when I saw my first pay in the mail around $391.50. Hey, you can try just for fun.
