Logically, I will make the argument that it is not permissable to harm animals, even for food purposes. The logic can be summed up by speciesism, which asserts that humans have no right to claim superiority over other animals. Therefore, if you make the argument that eating animals is morally permissable, you must allow that it is also morally permissable for other animals to eat us.

In a deductive logical scenario, I would extend this argument to the point that if a mentally superior race existed, they should cage humans and use us for food, skins, and experimentation to further their own cause.

Agree? Disagree?

Have you ever walked into a room and noticed that the atmosphere was negative and everyone that stepped into the room subsequently was negatively effected by it?
And then have you ever walked into a room where everyone was laughing and joking and people walking in susequently were then effected in a positive way?
Do we not do the same with war? In order to achieve the goal of world peace shouldn´t we rather be spreading good gestures, patience, harmony, love etc.?

There are some people who constantly ponder the meaning of life. Why? Why do some people assume that there's a meaning to life? If anything, it's rather egotistical for us to assume that we're on earth to serve a purpose. Has it ever occurred to some people that perhaps we're on earth just because our species evolved to the state it's in and that it was simply because the conditions were conducive to it?

I guess that i think of neanderthall man with his rocks as tools and wonder if he really could advance to the stage of creating huge jets which fly at incredible speeds or mobile phones with their ability to send words. Then there is tv,radio, video recorders, automobiles and the list goes on and on and on.All this came from the ground. Its either all part of a mass illusion(dreams feel as real as life so why not??)or we have had help from other sources of intelligence which are not human.I really don't know but i'd like to hear some thoughts.

I think one reason why aliens don't visit is because they probably see us as hostile and barbaric. We can't even get along with eachother dispite minor differences. How can we even get along with aliens with who are majorly different in comparison to how we view people from foreign countries?

Some people say that "God has a plan for everyone." But what if his "plan" for someone involves making that person's life a continual hell, without giving him any signs of hope? Could it be possible that God gives someone signs that he made a mistake by allowing that person to be born and makes sure that, no matter what this person does or tries to do, he won't get any breaks in life because he was cursed (and hated) from the beginning?
