and if it is a manifestation of a conscious force, then how did that force manifest itself in the first place?
so would that conclude that life happened by chance?

How could anything possibly sprout from nothing? Logically its not possible for anything ; even energy to manifest out of nothing!
so it concludes that energy was alwayz there! how is that possible? how can anything alwayz have existed, since it doesn't make any sense to say that energy could have manifested out of nothing as that's not scientifically possible either!

I'm sorry i keep going on about this...i've asked many questions regarding the same topic, but i need more advice. As i said in my other question, i'd love to start speaking to this guy that works in a shop i visit very often who im interested in and maybe ask him out to a coffee. I'm 16 and i've never had a boyfriend before which is why im asking so many questions. The thing is, im really worried about his age. I mean he seems a lovely guy, but i don't want to start talking to him only to find out he's 25 or something!...Many of my sincere friends have said that he doesn't look older than 19, but that's one thing im getting myself worked up over. I don't want him to think "Oh my goodness, a 16 year old is trying to chat me up here!"...I'd appreciate any advice...thankyou! :-)

Over the last few months, I have been seeing hearts everywhere. I swear! From pulling a chip out of a bag that is in the shape of a heart to seeing something that looks like a heart, they're everywhere!
Is this weird, like am I just seeing things or is this a sign? Maybe that love is coming my way or that I need to show more love because something may happen soon? Anyone else have similar experiences? Is it just a coincidence or...?

I've heard some people argue that humans have the right to do whatever they damned well please to other animals simply because they possess a higher order of intelligence. That being said, though, it should also be noted that there are some exceptions to this rule. For example, there are some humans who are either so profoundly retarded or so brain damaged that they can't function beyond the level of a newborn baby, whereas the typical pig is said to possess the intelligence of the average three-year-old child. If we use the argument that our higher level of intelligence gives us the right to exploit other animal species, then could it also be argued that we should be able to do whatever we damned well please to a person who is profoundly retarded or brain damaged? And for that matter, couldn't it also be argued that we should leave profoundly retarded or brain damaged humans at the mercy of higher functioning animals?
