Maybe asking a question for the purpose receiving an answer isn't as important as the asking. The question is the exploration and some things will always remain unknown.

I think some of the most important questions are the ones you couldn't put on here because you have to ask them of yourself.. Who am I? is a big one, and answering it can take the rest of your life... knowing the answer or at least being close to knowing it can be more powerful than any other kind of knowledge, truly knowing yourself makes you as free as you can possibly be.

Here's one: Why do people seem more miserable than ever? We have so much of an advantage over our ancestors in so many ways- technology, scientific knowledge, health advances, etc.- yet everybody you see looks more messed up and frustrated than ever. Do you think it's because we have just about eliminated every REAL source of trouble, like disease, famine, poverty, etc. and now have nothing real to complain about, so we have to invent things to make us sad? I'm talking about middle-class Americans, by the way. I am fully aware that famine and disease and whatnot still occur in other parts of the world. What does everyone have against happiness???????

Many times if I can formulate a question I can also find the answer myself. The hard questions are the ones that I can't ask properly.
