Even if an envious person has more material things, accomplishments, and position over another person, why would that person be envious of someone who has even less then them? Even small achievements. What is it about the person who reacts in an envious way, usually by some sublte negative comment? Often people in higher places just hate to see another person progress a little in life - Why is that?

I realise my life could be worse and or better but everything seems like a con job if ya dont feel good and havent found something you can live with as far as getting enough exercise to feel good and then makeing enough money to do something besides pay bills, what's the point, all the things I used to think would make life great did'nt and Im realy just tired of trying I guess Im to chicken for hary cary. to much money would be worse and relationships well then there is another problem that would be worse than just waiting to die, maybe I could get some answers on what the heck you like about your life I think it all sucks after a wile I dont think I could ever find anything to do that I could hold on to and be happy with it's just to complicated and full of pitfalls.

I was just curious if thoughts and ideas in the head can be referred to as "mental writing?" That they are in the head and not down on paper or some other medium.

What do you think? We're people born inherently evil? Or do they have a choice in the matter?

Hi I need help analyzing a poem I don't really understand how to do the layout or even the 1st paragraph is where im really stuck here is the poem:

Title:Free as a . . .

First thing
outside my window
the wild world sings
I wonder
How it would be
to fly over
my neighborhood,
box houses,
streets like lines
on a map,
tops of trees;
to pull a worm
breakfast from mud
between grass blades;
to build a soft house
for my children
in the branches
of a cottonwood
or to be
such a child
too big for the nest,
taking one wild step
into air.

Would we be happier in a simpler world?
Do you feel like were in a prison of existance,
Existing is not living,
Living means to make Life.
At the minute all we are doing is making Life harder for our desendents

Ok, so I got talking with my grandfather. He basically said that as everything in the world is in a constant state of decay there is no present.

Because as soon as you think about the present, it becomes the past during the time it takes for the neurones to transmit. etc

Therefore, there is only past.

Then again, there's always future...

In your opinion, does betrayal suggest anything about life? In what ways does it suggest that life is cylical, repetitive, fluid?

Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
