There will ALWAYS be someone smarter, prettier, stronger, richer, clever, etc. There will always be those that are inferior. So long as you do your very best, you are a success.

Stop comparing yourself with others. There are usually two results from that kind of thinking. You either think you don't measure up or you think you're better than everyone else. Neither one of those is good. Do the absolute best you can do and don't worry about how you compare to someone else. If you admire the way someone does something that you like to do you could always ask them for advice on how to improve, but don't be envious or jealous. Those kinds of feelings bring you down.

To know people that do the things better than us, it's an oportunity to see that you can always do it better too. Your motivation must be your own superation, and you should take those persons as examples that help you expand your perspectives of growing. If you were always the best in everything, then you would have the risk of believing that you reached your best, and probably the motivation of continuing growing would die. Conclusion: it's a good sign!

If you are in competitive situations, try to put more effort, time and concentration in succeeding. It's quite possible that your competitors are out exerting you in those areas. If you have only average natural talent, if you put in the effort, you should succeed at least some of the time. Often, its not so much a matter of talent as it is a matter of determination.

Maybe you are just lazy and need to try harder. Maybe you are just a born loser and should give up competing and become a docile follower of the winners.

There might be someone who can do it better than you but you probably try more. It just might happen to be their natural talent or talents. If it is, then they probably don't have to try so hard to beat you. In that case, you are probably the person who tries more and thats what counts. That is probably what you are the best at. Trying your best all the time. Trying more than the other person. You might not ever win but you are the one who made the most effort and in my opinion, that makes you the winner.

You are who you are and your abilities develope as you grow and experience all that life has to offer. Are you doing yourself any good by coninually comparring yourself to others?
Be the best you can. Focus on intermediate goals. Stuff will come, be patient. No one can be the best at everything.

Know that no one does it EXACTLY the same way as you. Celebrate your uniqueness, and resolve not to give a hoot who's the "best."

Why would you care about that? Each of us follows his unique path. Do not compare yourself with others, because each of us is unique.
