Individuals, as the same basics throughout the human race, but very much so individual as no two people have the same experiences. Think about it. It is awesome. There is no one exactly like you and never will be. You are a one of a kind!

We are all individuals. Some choose to be followers, some leaders, and some fence sitters.
Take the example of a family: There are five children. All grow to adulthood, but have different ideas as to what makes an ideal mate, whether to go to college, I.Q.'s, differing views on politics, etc. Remember they were all raised in the same family with the same parents.
Now, what has made these five children grow up with many different ideas? I believe this is because we are all individuals and make up our own minds what to believe, how to live our lives, and whether to be a follower or a leader in our existence.

On this one i can only go by what i have learned in life this far: i think that we are all individuals unique in our own way.God has given us male and female minds to think with ,according to our gender. but our perception seems to differ one from the other, not that we all are so greatly different from each other either but he made us in such a way that we can blend with each other, and are able to compliment one another. For example look at a classroom full of students,as the teacher asks questions and the students interact ,its clear that we are not pretty much the same in the light of understanding, but in another sense as far as the way a human being is put together yes we are pretty much all the same. a lot of things come into focus when we consider that people can be the same age and maybe similar in apperance yet one will soar in his acomplishments and one will not. one will possess amazing intelligence and another just what we call normal intelligence, for this reason i have always believed that God our creator maybe sends us in a certain type of direction in life for his purpose for us not that we are puppets or predestinated to do anything a certain way but more like God might send us in a direction and we make our own choices .Thats a thought that i have had but i dont know that for sure, i was just sharing my thought with you. I do know that God is awesome in whatever he does, he has done much for man and yet is he appreciated as he should be by the world? I can use this for a example, to show the difference between the different individuals in the world. perception seems to be what helps to shape attitude which is guide to the state of mind, which each has a little bit different slant. i hope that helped, bob L.

We are both. We are individuals striving for an acceptable universal identity, formation, concept, notion .... In our self alienation from self we have struggles identifying sameness as we identify with the nearest or most immediate notion available.

Yes, but we all exist as individuals in a community. Sometimes this seems at odds in this country.
