There is a very t h i n line between love and hate. Now, I have to write something profound, huh?
love means never having to say you are sorry.......?
hate means never having to say you are sorry cause you just don't care, anyways!
p.s.love means promoting each others' well-being; be it emotionally, physically, financially etc etc.
hate means you have no love in your heart to promote anyone or anything much less yourself....

Hate means, yet to find a reason to love somebody, and such kind of love that seeks a reason is not true love , it is just a conditional love (more of a mutual benefit Scheme !..... reciprocal basis.. this very outlook of love nurtures hate too, inevitably ! )
True love is a way of being. Action is not really warranted. It is not dependent on others or even the situation.
Yes, ....... that 'dictionary' meaning is just useful for handling the material aspects of life.... not much of use in an attempt for philosophical understanding.

Very thin line between the two but a def action and a re action from them,,,Love is giving and trusting and bein g loyal and looking forward to being with someone and lots of common bonds and many types of love a love of a child a love of a parent a love of a lover but based on what I just told you and when one is rejected by that person it turns inward and you want to hurt and get even and etc etc and that is caslled hate.

Love is the realization that you are not alone. The idea that we are separate, divided human beings is a great illusion. 'Love' is this illusion being broken down.
Hate comes from an uncontrollable desire to keep the selfish illusion in place. To defend your 'ego' or 'I' from another perceived 'ego' or 'I'. Once you're mentally vested in feeling that your ego is the most important and 'real' thing about you, you are then threatened by other egos with the exact same position.

Both are opposites but without one the other couldn't exist. Love is unyielding support and feelings for another. Hate is the complete opposite meaning one would even want to kill the other.

authentic love- A desire to work out the item of this love be exalted to its optimal attainable state, with a brush aside for the attainable detriment to your self or something. This definition has some ramifications that I won't circulate into by way of fact it may take an prolonged essay which you in all probability do no longer desire to envision. in case you do, digital mail me.

well, i would say that True love is a nondiscriminatory love for all things in existence. and hate is having very little love for things. I am trying to teach myself a view without opposites, all things being one, so hate is just less love or love is less hate, but they are not opposite, it is simply a scale with no middle or end. it is a non-dualistic approach

Love is concern for another's well being. The opposite of love is apathy (lack of concern). Hate is the wished destruction of another. It's not good.
