So many people have tried to kill me and failed. None of them knew me very well or had any particular vendetta. I was just some guy in the wrong place at the right time. I've had my back broken. I've been shot. I've been run over. I've had my skull cracked open. I now have a 4 inch plate in my skull. There's more, but the point is that I feel lucky to be alive and thriving, so to speak. I find it hilarious, yet mysterious.

I'm amazed at how bigotry and prejudous has disolved from my life. I answered a question today for a girl doing some school work about racism. I was a racist back when I was in my teens. Now I couldn't stomach anyone who even attempts the crap I thought was right back then! What happened? When did it disappear? Damn I feel good about myself today.

I was surprised that I found out that I'm an alcoholic. I don't drink that much, but apparently, my sister says that I'm an alky because I drink once a week(Friday's). What's up with that!!? Never even had a dui or anything like that.

How strong a person I am when I have to be. Looking back through some of my life experiences, I am amazed that I made it through it all, but I did!

i am so secure and at peace with myself and the confidence i have now.
I used to be so insecure
i used to be afraid of the dark. how silly
now what ever i fear i face it.
I do it afraid
what a sense of peace and wonder
i also used to take everything so seriously

That I've learned to shut up...I deal with people's problems more than my own and even attempt to be understanding and sensitive, and have yet to make some snide comment about it.
