Putting too much faith in another human being. I was married and divorced once. I waited five years before getting married again. I thought I had met the love of my life. I thought he would never leave me. I though we had it all. I trusted him with everything. After sixteen years of marriage, he left me for a co-worker. The greatest lesson I have learned is to never put too much faith in another human being. It is unfortunate, but true. Maybe, I wasn't perfect, but the "for better or worse" doesn't always stand up.

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a ******* big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of ******* fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the **** you are on Sunday night. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing ******* junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, ****** up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?

Life goes on in spite of everything, so have faith and move on. Treat people how you want to be treated because everything that comes around goes around. You will get back what you put out. I think the most important is to be honest, especially with yourself.

definitely: everything happens for a reason.
You may want something to go a certain way and it doesn't, but in the end it's so much better than what you had in mind.

Expect nothing from no one. Get used to pain. People are mostly indifferent.
