I've been calling myself an atheist for some time now. However, I'm pretty sure that's not my "real" belief in this world. I'm not an agnostic, I'm convinced there's no God or supernatural entity whatsoever.

Do you know a belief term describing the following? :
I believe in no God, period (atheism trait,) but I do believe in terms like the soul and its immortality (without entering religious schemes.)
How do you call this system of belief? Does it exists something that properly describes my situation? Or am I thinking like no other mortal ever would? (to start with my own philosophies, then.)

Thank you. I hope you're not confused by my reasoning.

Sometimes it takes me several hours to make all the exact calculations, other times I need to be in a deep Satanic trance to do it. Is this normal?

As illustration of those who come by way of Holy Trinity and those who come by way of Allah, lay claim that:

“In order to understand scared text, one needs to first believe; a person must use their minds and be afflicted with divine intervention.”

The fallacy of this line of argument conceivably be that of the other thousand or so religions, beliefs and philosophies in present circulation, a handful will claim similar conditions to understand their way.

Should this person then not ascribe to all the above belief systems to try to sort the wheat from the chaff to determine the one True belief, and in the process risk being burnt by all the other false beliefs and Gods ?

Are not all authoritative sources preaching one belief over another no different to the transient nature of confetti salesmen ?

Flavour of the month, if you permit, is empirical science backed with rational philosophy.

Kindly refrain, if you please, ad hominem attacks of all parties participating. Thank you.

I was sitting here thinking, and I realized that I am often unsure of who I am. Like there are multiple people telling me to be this way or that way and I don't know which one to let win, nor which one is actually me. And I thought, and I realized that these people, these voices, change often. I am constantly seeing new ways to act, new ways I want to be. And I want totally opposite things at the same time and it is confusing. Where in the mess is my identity?
Here is a rough sketch of my idea:
What if we all have the entire world and every person in it in our hearts, arguing who gets to be us? Maybe that is why we got through phases... we are searching for who we want to be. I think THAT is the purpose of life: Finding the right skin to live in. Sorting out the jumble of ways to live and hopefully finding yourself, discovering the person you were meant to be. It sounds pretty deep, but I think I'm on to something. Just think, the whole point of being here is to discover who we are.

I promise, I will come back and tell you. I will tell you what exactly happens and what to expect when you die.

I can't stand it anymore I want to see what happens after a human dies.

Someone should be brave enough to do it.

I can't wait no longer.

If you have a dog then he died you will have the sad feeling inside you. But if you didnt have that dog and he died will you be feeling the way you will be feeling as if you had the dog?
- You love someone, you will get hurt if someone dumped you. What you didnt meet that person? you wont get hurt right?....well that means it was the influence of the someone you love or the dog. So its influence. Also it cannot be influence in someway, if someone hit you with a stick, you will feel the pain right? what if back then we didnt have the influence we didnt know about the emotions stuff. Will we still feel the pain. Its a part of our brain if actualy cut and remove those little vesil on the place where it makes you feel the pain, you cant feel the pain. (Thats why there is brain damage stuff etc). I dont know, it might be only influence.
- Back then people didnt wear clothing, why do we wear clothing now, influence?...One persons wears it and then all now wears the clothing.

How can I be me when my personality changes? I am compelled to refer to myself as we because it often feels like I am more than one entity.
