If you have a dog then he died you will have the sad feeling inside you. But if you didnt have that dog and he died will you be feeling the way you will be feeling as if you had the dog?
- You love someone, you will get hurt if someone dumped you. What you didnt meet that person? you wont get hurt right?....well that means it was the influence of the someone you love or the dog. So its influence. Also it cannot be influence in someway, if someone hit you with a stick, you will feel the pain right? what if back then we didnt have the influence we didnt know about the emotions stuff. Will we still feel the pain. Its a part of our brain if actualy cut and remove those little vesil on the place where it makes you feel the pain, you cant feel the pain. (Thats why there is brain damage stuff etc). I dont know, it might be only influence.
- Back then people didnt wear clothing, why do we wear clothing now, influence?...One persons wears it and then all now wears the clothing.

First is influence then experience..
Example, you see you friend smoke you get influenced by them to smoke, then you have experience and then you get addicted to it.

-We develop over time... physically and emotionally....

... people who are exposed to situations are more prone to a variety of feelings that others are not....

... basically because our bodies work according to "trigers"... something happens... we respond emotionally, physically or sometimes just in mere perception....

... at the end it is influence.

Very interesting line of thought you have going here.

I would argue that emotion comes from *experience*. Yes, you are influenced by the dog and the lover, which is part of your experience. You are also influenced by the stick--it physically hurts you, therefore you are influenced by it. That influence becomes the experience which helps you develop the emotion of being really pissed off at the guy who hit you with it.

Going back to the loss analogy, it's not just beings, but things that we as humans miss too..Say that someone gave you a trinket that you loved to look at. Many years later, you are robbed, and among the things taken is the trinket. It didn't influence you at all, other than to exist in your surrounding, but you still feel the loss very personally, as if it were a person or the dog, or a special being in your life.

I would argue that you're right about the clothing, though--people tend to be influenced in their clothing decisions by what others are wearing...although 'back then', I think it was a little more functional...put on an animal skin or freeze to death. That kind of thing.

Of course our emotions come form the things that happen to us, that is natural.

If you are asking if we have a choice, on wether we want to feel bad, or not have that experience, then I'm not sure that his is possible.

You can foresee some problems, some pain, but you cant foresee everything.

Besides, if you look at the dog thing for a moment, Didn't someone say, Its better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all.

If we don't dare, don't feel, don't outstretch ourselves, we cant possibly live, can we?

I think it is a combination of influence and experience. Some things we learn by seeing what other people do in the same situation. Some things we learn by going through it.

emotions evolve over time with many factors influencing them. But babies are born with emotion. We are most definately born with our own set of emotions. As we grow our preception of those closest to us starts to influence how we react to things hence our emotions become influenced. But Each of us is born to be our own person. If u have children u would see that 2 children with basically the same influences,in the same family, can have vastly different emotional responses to the same situation.

Influence is more like they manipulate you. i would say sadness is caused by a stimulus. It can be watching a sad movie, or losing something personally. It depends on each person how they respond to each stimulus.

I don't believe so.
I believe they come from our psyche(our emotions)
fashion could be brought up because of influence.
