Because we have a broken compass for a heart that always reads to nowhere. So we must define/explore our ground.

Wanderlust goes beyond mere curiosity about what lies over the next hill. I like to travel and see things...but I always want a home to which I can return and rest. Someone stricken with wanderlust will travel, and then move on from there to a new destination without thought of a return.

My brother is such a person. He picks up and moves, and he keeps moving further away from civilization. His last move took him to Fairbanks, Alaska...but in a couple of months he and his wife will pick up to spend the next 9 months hiking the Appalachian trail. He has no plans for after that. Will he go back to Alaska, come to Denver, go to Sri Lanka...he neither knows nor cares.

He just knows that when he wants to see something of the world, he goes to see it. I admire that call to action. Still, I need a permanent place to hang my hat.

Thats a good question, I'm the only one in my family that wants to travel. I guess im just curious, to see how other people live, To see Old buildings, to see how people used to live. Art, museums, Buildings, and the people themselves. I want to know what its like.
I have a list of places i would like to see before I die. Im just a curious person, inquisitive. I am drawn to different places too, Ireland, Spain... maybe thats where my "people" came from. or maybe i lived there in a former life? Intresting.

WE WANT TO SEE EVERYTHING in this world in our lifetime! Meet new ppl, do new things, and see new sights. I mean you really haven't seen anything until you've seen everything! =]
