I don't mean, do you love your successes in life, but do you love who you are as an individual?

"We all create our own reality"
Quantum physics as the physics of possibility.--"In the beginningwas the void, teeming with infinite possibilities, of which you are one"
"have you ever seen yourself through the eyes of someone else that you have become and looked at yourself through the eyes of the ultimate observer?"
"How can you continue to see the world as real when the self that is determining it as real is intangible?"
If we all create our own reality do 'we' create a collective reality in which each of us can have an influence over the 'reality' of others?
In answering this maybe consider witchcraft, telekenesis and any other phenomena that can't be reasonably explained.

I tried to post this before, but it vanished into a vacuum! Here goes again...if a vacuum is a space devoid of matter how can it exist? If this is our definition of a vacuum, in Thomism it would be equal to saying that a vacuum was a non-being, that existed (since I can perceive and measure it). Outer space is supposed to be a vacuum, with things in it. But how can a non-being have beings in it? In Thomism non-being is just a negation of being, and so does not exist. If outer space was a void then it just wouldn't be there. According to Thomas, then, non-being does not exist, hence since a vacuum exists, it cannot be a non-being - it must be a being of some sort. So outer space cannot be a vacuum. Am I understanding Thomas correctly - and is this right?

To my understanding, the definition of insane is that you do the same thing over and over and you expect a different result every time. But that is how the world works. For example, with weather you could start out every day for a month with the same temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, sunlight and cloud cover and so on; and you could get 70 degree beautiful or a hurricane or anything in between. And that's the way it is with everything in the world. So one could in fact expect that you would do the same thing over and over and get a different result everytime. That is simply reality.

Since I'm in touch with reality (because I realize the nature of reality) and therefore expect different things even if I do the same thing over and over, I'm in fact insane because I'm in touch with reality. And those who don't believe this are considered sane precisely because they live in a fantasy world where it happens the same way every time (at least in their heads).

"What you feel only matters to you. It's what you do to the people you love. That's what matters. That's the only thing that counts."
-Stephen in The Last Kiss

Looking at this quote, does it mean that you have to do anything to prove to those you love that you really love them?

Do you think that Askers tend to choose the answer that they wanted to get, rather than the answers that seem more plausible? There are very often askers on here with hidden (and often not so hidden) agendas. This most often seems to be the religious and philosophical questions. So what do you think? (Please answer by saying, "yeah you're right, the askers should not choose best answer")

Would you agree with the above statement? I feel that a large amount of arguments over the life of Jesus could be avoided if it was agreed that his place in the bible is to show the Christian moral code.
