Please tell me what your idea of self righteousness is.
And could we all be guilty of it, at times?

Life is full of many material and tangible things, but what about things such as love or hate. These are things that cannot be truly defined by science, yet they can be more powerful than anything that one can see, or touch. Without love, and hate, we would be as robots, existing for nothing......yet for some reason, our lives seem to be guided by these emotions that we cannot explain? Do you think love was an accident of nature?

Wether you admit it or not, people get replaced when they die. Widows remarry or get involved in other things. Is love really that shallow? Doesn't it go beyond death? If it does, then why is the marriage promise just "till death do us part?"

Is this then perhaps the reason why men have a stronger body and women a stronger mind?
If so, is flexibility a strength or a weakness?

Request your well considered answers please... and many thanks in anticipation!!

Do you think as a whole people we should be more optimistic and less skeptical? Should we communicate more freely? Are we being stifled somehow? And how are we if you think we are? In what way can we make the difference for a change?

I have read and heard often that in order to lead a life of meaning, we have to follow our life purpose with passion. Well I have been trying to understand my purpose but I am getting muddle headed. I love doing the following - Creative work - web design, graphic design, canvas painting, photography, travelling, wildlife, exploring, talking to new people, exploring new cultures, enjoying freedom, serving/helping others, innovating/inventing, experimenting. Also I get bored doing one thing or being in one profession for a long time as I always need a change or a challenge. So it is difficult for me to articulate what could be my ultimate purpose as I feel like doing a lot of things all at once. Hence I am not able to decide where I can focus my mental and physical energy.

Could any body guide me on the above dilemma.
Thanks in advance :)

The top two choices seemed to be

1) Kant's Prolegomena

and

7) Kierkegaard's Provocations

So, which would you like to read first,

Kierkegaard or Kant (Again, I won't vote unless a tiebreaker is needed). Also, I can't see picking a best answer on a question like this, so don't be dissappointed if I don't. Its just not the right kind of question for that.
