What does control mean? We are all trying to control our lives, to live our own dreams...They say control is an illusion...what does this mean?

Solipsism states that there is nothing that exists outside of our own minds. Everything you see is a product of your own dream world. This philosophy does a great job at describing the self, but what does this mean about our relationships with others? Is everyone in their own dream? If so, how can we possibly understand someone else's reality? How do we communicate if we are all in our own dreams?

I've noticed a trend that's irritated me a bit - that people would choose something (such as a best answer!) purely on aesthetics or 'because I can whimsy' rather than get the facts and analyse the problem. Has anyone else noticed this and why would people abandon the scientific answer for what I'd almost term 'euphoric'? Sorry if this is abstract ...maybe its after work stress lol thx.

Dreamt that i was in a church service and was the one to read the Scripture portion...and when i started ...i just could not....nothing was clear and i was strugling to read. Hours passed by and everybody was waiting patiently for me to read....but the words were moving around so i could not read and i cried!!!.....eee!
