I have been collecting books since I was a small child and I,m not young anymore. So My excess is most certainly books, lots and lots of books.
I happened upon a library one day that was being given away because the owner had died without family and the estate was given away. I got the whole library--Box after carload after box after car load.
Yes-- its Books!!! They are my treasures--for me!

Anything that I really like, I will tend to do to excess – or at least what most call excess. With me, it's a part of my approach to life: anything worth doing is worth doing to excess. It sits right next to: put all your eggs into one basket, and then take very good care of the basket.
