Spinny rims for sure (not to mention the dunks craze)

99% of the styles on MTV; Bape, (Pharrell) too (those hoodies just aren't that fresh when EVERYBODY is rockin em; let alone their neon shoes)

Pretty much anything trendy trend

I dress like an old man and my gf still loves me

but at least my kids won't be able to look at pictures from this era

and clown on their old man

It is a right of passage to be both the first person to stick their head up above the crowd and have the balls to stand out, which is the courage and conviction that starts a trend to begin with, AND the first to make a great joke that everyone who followed the trend can relate to.

It is preferable to be both and it is counterproductive to still be the kind of moron STILL wearing Members only jackets and shark skin suits to the club trying to pick up the young girls.

or Leg warmers and a hair crimp trying to look good for the guys.

Every trend, no matter how stupid, always comes back around the bend eventually. If it is classic, it is a good thing, like skinny pants hoop earrings and pirate boots. but if it never should have been popular to begin with... like in the case of white plastic Whiffle ball shoes or jellies... Some things are just for the time capsule and deserve a good laugh.

I'd think people would laugh over people who wear pants so big for them that they can hardly walk, need one hand to constantly hold them up, and keep inadvertently exposing themselves.

Ridiculous fashion, in my view (well, more ridiculous than other fashions, all of which are pretty dumb).

Though I have to admit, the guy I once saw running for the bus and loosing his pants had a really nice ***, so I guess there's something to be said for it.

The time period you speak about is the time of nostalgia. When a generation has just recently gone, then it becomes a parody. After that it just history. The young begin teasing during the time of nostalgia and become mocking during parody then bored in history. What goofy things will they pick to laugh about? The usual. Items of transportation, fashions and leisure time activities.

It is funny. We do 50s & 60s styles as costums.
