Only in summer
When it gets really hot and sometimes it does
Here and there you hear a buzz.
But thanks to my swatter
I take care of that.

The real problem arises when things really stir
then I just pick my pommegranates and make liquer
Whatever the pest problem I never despair
When bad gets to worse I pick up a can and spray the air.
Last resort that is ofcourse
and only if insects get into my hair.

The thing to watch for in any paradise
is bites and scratches that may arise.
And most important of all is to be fully aware
that the mosquitoes don't turn into gnats,
cause then, it's really despair.

After hearing me all this time to recite at my best
Just one thing there is to remember.
Don't ever be cought in a heavenly rest
Snap those mosquitoes on the count to seven.
Paradise it may be.
But certainly it isn't heaven.

PS

Here is an extra note which I found quite interesting...from Wikipedia

Mosquitoes are principally nectar feeders with only the females requiring a meal of blood, except for the Toxorhynchites, which never drinks blood. This family includes the largest of the extant mosquitoes (colloquially referred to as "mosquito eaters"), the larvae of which are predatory on the larvae of other mosquitoes.

Interesting :)

Which paradise? The one that of course doesn't because it is your own little paradise and perfect? Or the one that we live in, but is others paradise too and has some mosquitoes because they exist and they go to many places?
If it's the first one (for anyone), no. If it's the second one (for anyone), yes, at times.
