...without emotion? How would society be different if logic were the prevalent internal guidance for all of our actions?

Be specific.

I died (honest) recently in a dream, and someone took my hand (don't know who). I wasn't afraid just curious.

Then I woke up and thought hah! So much for old wives tales that if you die in your dreams you are dead - or am I kidding myself - is this the after-life?

Good news for the medical marijuana movement: pot proliferates brain cells and boosts mood.
Most drugs of abuse decrease the generation of new neurons in the brain, but the effects of marijuana on this process, called neurogenesis, had not been clear. In a paper appearing online on October 13 in advance of print publication of the November issue of the Journal of Clinical Investigation, Xia Zhang and colleagues from University of Saskatchewan show that a potent and synthetic cannabinoid promotes neurogenesis. This drug also exerts anti-anxiety and antidepressant-like effects.
The researchers suggest that there is a positive correlation between increased adult neurogenesis and modified behavior following chronic cannabinoid treatment. Moreover, cannabinoids are perhaps the only illicit drug that can enhance adult neurogenesis.WEED IS HARMLESS! What crap do you think the gov't is going to tell people to stop smoking it now? It can be used for good say scientists..

Christians believe in a 4-O God, that is a God that is all powerful (Omnipotent) all-knowing (Omniscient) is everywhere in all things (Omnipresent) and is all good (Omnibenevolent). If this is correct, then there should be no evil, as God should be able to perceive any evil anywhere and prevent it, and he would always do so because he is all good.

However, there are few that would argue that there is no evil in this world. In fact, most would agree there is a great deal of evil in this world. Just a few examples of the evil that men do everyday are rape, genocide, torture etc. The victims of these crimes are often innocent, often children.

Please do not answer "God is perfect, we just cannot understand his plan." The Bible spells out quite clearly God's idea of morality. And if he was all powerful, he could create any of the "good" consequences of evil without the suffering. Also, do not answer that evil is the absence of God, as God is omnipresent and thus can never be absent.
